Cleveland CycleWerks is a not so famous American origin motorcycle company that forayed into the Indian market earlier in 2018 at the Auto Expo with the Misfit and Ace models. The Ace line-up comprises of the Café, Deluxe and Scrambler variants. Prices have now been reduced for the Ace Deluxe which is the only Ace variant being sold in India at present. Prices have been reduced by INR 38, 000 as a special introductory offer for the first 200 buyers.

The Ace Deluxe has seen its prices come down to INR 1.85 lakhs from INR 2.24 lakhs previously (all prices ex-showroom, Delhi). The offer is not applicable for the Misfit although dealerships have started accepting bookings for the same and it is expected to be priced at INR 2.49 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi). The Cleveland CycleWerks Misfit should be available for buyers from the first week of January 2019 as per reports.

The Café and Scrambler variants will soon be added to the Ace line-up and dealerships should get these bikes by next month itself. The bikes are imported as CKD (Completely Knocked Down) units from China and assembling takes place locally. The bikes share a single cylinder OHV 229 cc air cooled engine that makes 15.4 hp and 16 Nm of peak torque. This engine is paired to a five speed transmission system.

Weighing 133 kg, the Ace has a fuel tank of 14 litres and ground clearance between 150-180 mm for its Scrambler variant. There is a twin-piston caliper and 298 mm disc in front along with a single-piston caliper and 210 mm disc at the back in tandem with aluminium wire-spoke rims.

The Misfit tips the scales at 144 kg with a 15 litre fuel tank and 150 mm of ground clearance. This comes with steel rims and wire spokes. There is a 220 mm rear disc and 320 mm front disc with a four-piston radial-mount caliper. A steel backbone tubular dual cradle chassis is used for the Misfit while there is a square-section single-downtube frame for the Ace. Both bikes have USD forks as standard in addition to dual-shock absorbers and 5-step preload adjust-ability.
