Benelli TRK 251 is something we really were not expecting from Benelli. Currently we are all waiting for Benelli to launch the TRK 502 in India and then this comes along as a surprise. It looks like a motorcycle with easy and agile handling with a 250 cc heart.
The Benelli TRK 251 is powered by a single-cylinder, four-stroke engine is liquid cooled, with double overhead camshaft timing system and electronic fuel injection, just like on the renowned BN 251. Its maximum power is 25.8 hp (19 kW) at 9250 rpm, with torque of 21.2 Nm (2.16 kgm) at 8000 rpm.
The traditional steel tube trellis frame should offer good stability and ease of riding. The suspensions feature an upside-down fork with 41 mm diameter at the front and a rear swing-arm with an adjustable mono-shock and 51 mm travel.
The TRK 251 features a braking system consisting of a single floating 280 mm disc with 4-piston caliper on the front and 240 mm with single-piston caliper on the back for maximum road safety. ABS is also standard. The 17″ aluminium alloy rims mount a 110/70 tyre on the front and 150/60 at the rear. The dry weight of the bike is 153 kgs.

Honestly, it seems a bit under powered when you consider that it is meant for touring and the overall soft ADV or on-off road image. Would have loved to see the engine on the 402S on this.
Will it come to India? Not really sure yet. But as we said earlier, we will know at the Auto Expo 2018.
