The R15 One Make Championship had begun on 4th of this month as we had reported earlier here, and it was as expected a major success. This is part of the Indian National Racing Championship 2011 organized by the Madras Motor Sports Club and the Federation of Motor Sports Clubs of India (FMSCI) to promote young talent and motorcycle racing in India.
The races were split into Novice and the Expert category, with the first round witnessing a participation of almost 60 riders in the novice category. Madhan from Trichy was the winner and J Allwyn Jebaz from Chennai was the first runner up Arjun E.B from Kerela second runner up. These 3 dominated the race 2 also in the same order. We are trying to get hold of the timings but they are not yet available. The expert category saw a participation of twenty riders with fifteen qualifying. Shyam Shankar from Chennai was the winner Naveen Raj first runner up and Arun J Pillai the second runner up.The trio dominated the race 2 as well in the same order.

The Yamaha R15 one make race championship is an open championship for both Yamaha and Non Yamaha customers.
With good racing track facility coming up in India, our aim is to provide true experience of Racing Instinct and Unmatched Performance to young biking enthusiast. To make their experience more exciting the YZF R15s would be modified with DAYTONA RACING KIT. The Racing kit includes Muffler Assembly, Open ECU, High raise Cam Shaft and Petal shaped Disc.
