Suzuki GB unveiled the new Inazuma 250 today at Motorcycle Live, at UK’s biggest motorcycle show kicked off at NEC in Birmingham. The word Inazuma means lightning in Japanese. The bike was earlier launched under the name GW250. The Inazuma features a parallel twin 248cc engine, with modern styling inspired by the B-King and GSR models and practical features offering a new choice for riders looking for a user-friendly, fuel efficient machine with fresh and innovative looks. The Inazuma’s newly designed liquid-cooled, twin cylinder engine, boasts a six-speed transmission with great low-mid range performance, which combined with its frugal fuel injection system gives great rider control and efficiency.
Add in a new, robust frame, hydraulic disc brakes, high quality finishing and a full-function instrument cluster that even reports riding efficiency and the Inazuma adds up to a high quality machine with budget busting features and performance.
It is still unclear as to when the Inazuma / GW 250 will come to India or under what name. Suzuki has kept quiet to all our queries regarding the 250. A launch at the Auto Expo in 2012 maybe? If and when the Inazuma / GW 250 enters India it will go head on with Kawasaki Ninja 250R, Honda CBR250R and Hyosung GT 250 (R? again with a chance of being introduced at the Auto Expo).
quite a sober looking 250 bike from Suzuki as compared to the peers!
