Last year’s R1200GS Triple Black was received with a lot excitement and the numbers it sold have encouraged BMW Motorrad to do the same for the 2012 models of the R1200GS Adventure and F800GS, which now will also be going to the “dark side.” The new Triple Black special models feature the same blacked-out styling: sapphire black, granite grey and asphalt grey colors appear on the engine, frame, forks and swingarm.
In the U.S., the Triple Black colour option comes for an extra $250 to the price of R1200GS Adventure and F800GS. That makes the base model R1200GS retail at $18,600 and F800GS at $12,605. With the R1200 GS already costing a whopping 20+ lakhs in India, we reckon a 250$ colour change option would be cheap to any of the buyers. BMW are yet to announce when the new triple black bikes would come to India.
