MotoGP — Lorenzo starts from pole despite a heavy crash in morning free practice because of a rider error. He had deactivated the Traction Control while practicing launch starts and forgot to activate it before going into the corner. Riding with a sore right leg in qualifying, his lap times were consistently in the mid to high 1:21s and showing good conservation of the softer tires in the blazing Californian heat. Only doubt is fatigue over the entire race due to body pain following the crash. Meanwhile, Stoner and Pedrosa, who start from 2nd and 3rd place respectively, struggle to find a setup to keep up with pole-setter.
Star Sports and Ten Sports will carry the live telecast starting 2:15 am, 25th July. There are delayed telecasts on Star Sports, Ten Sports and Neo Sports at different times in the day.
