The Honda Crosstourer concept shown at last years EICMA, based on the VFR1200F is now a production motorcycle. This road focused adventure bike is Honda’s answer to the BMW’s GS series, it might not exactly measure up to the off terrain ability of the BMW’s, but because there is a range of electronics and new technology within the Crosstourer, it makes it quite competitive.

The whole bike is based around the V4 engine taken from the Honda VFR1200F and is trimmed to ensure effective use of power at low and medium engine speeds to make this motorcycle very comfortable for long distance riding. The Crosstourer gets a revised DCT gearbox and two ride modes – “Drive”, which is for town and travel and “Sport” for when you need that extra bit.
