Powered by a 471 cc parallel twin cylinder engine which remains the same for 2020, with strong low-speed torque and smooth, linear power delivery, the Honda Rebel 500 is a friendly and easy to ride cruiser. The twin cylinder engine produces a torque of 43.3 Nm @ 6,000 rpm and a power of 45.5 HP @ 8,500 rpm.
For 2020, a new slipper clutch further smooths the shift and reduces the force to apply to the clutch lever by 30%.
The new fork springs and revised oil volume for 2020 give you a more comfortable suspension and smoother ride behavior. To reinforce the Rebel’s low, custom look, its tubular steel frame supports the engine at three points and is designed to be as narrow as possible in the driver’s leg area.
All lights are now LED, and the classic round headlight has a compact 175 mm diameter lens and a cast aluminum mount.

The new ultra-thin, oval taillight and license plate light go well with the Rebel’s low styling; The new mini circular LED turn signals have a diameter of only 55 mm and the front ones incorporate a circular position light.
The speedometer is a compact 100 mm dial with a negative LCD display and white back-lit. It now also incorporates a new gear position indicator and fuel consumption monitor.
Refinements in the exhaust system include a new gas sensor, ensure that the Rebel fully complies with latest emission norms.
A new Rebel S version in Metallic Matte Gray Axis will also be available with the following factory-fitted accessories: headlight fairing with smoked shade, retro-style fork covers and gussets, and a special diamond-stitched seat.
