BGAUSS announces 2 electric scooter models for India

BGAUSS, powered by RR GLOBAL, unveiled its first two products for the Indian market. Sales of these models will start from August first week.

The two models that will be initially available are the BGAUSS A2 and BGAUSS B8.

Designed especially for commute in the urban and developing areas, the scooters come with a promise of low maintenance, decent power, quick charging, IOT and more features that make everyday life easier and more convenient.

BGAUSS offers features like Removable battery, anti-theft alarm, anti-theft motor locking, LED Instrumental panel, Multi-colored Digital Display, DRL’s, Keyless start, find your scooter, Centralized Seat Lock, USB charging, Reverse Assist, side stand sensor and 3 riding modes (Low, Mid, High). IOT feature is available in the technology version. Each model comes with Mobile app for easy management of features.

BGAUSS B8

LI Technology, Lithium ion and Lead acid variants

All the Variants include 3 riding modes – Low, Mid and High, with top speed 50 km/hrs.

Lead acid offers a range of 78 km; and Lithium ion and LI Technology has a range of 70 km.

In terms of performance, lead acid uses a 1900 watts Bosch bldc motor with fixed battery of 60V VRLA. Lead acid takes 7-8 hours to charge the battery from 0-100%

Lithium ion and LI Technology variants also uses a 1900 watts bosch bldc motor with removable battery of 1.45KW takes maximum 3 hours for a full charge.

B8 Lithium ion comes with Bluetooth features and B8 LI Technology includes IOT features like navigation assist, ride metrics, remote diagnostics, SOH & SOC, live tracking , geo fencing, full charge alerts.

All variants are available in various colour schemes such as blue, white, red and grey.

BGAUSS A2

Lead acid and Lithium ion variants

Both variants include 3 riding modes – Low, Mid and High, with top speed 25 km/h and range of 110 km.

In terms of performance, lead acid uses a 250 watts motor with fixed battery of 60V VRLA and takes 7-8 hours to charge the battery from 0-100%. Lithium ion also uses a 250 watts motor with removable battery of 1.29KW and takes maximum 2 hours 15 minutes to charge.

All variants are available in various colour schemes such as blue, white, and grey.
