Interceptor 650 Chrome version now on road

Royal Enfield has started deliveries for the Interceptor 650 Chrome variant from the 16th of February onwards. The first Chrome model was delivered to a buyer from Bangalore and the second one was delivered the next day in Delhi where it is priced at INR 3.12 lakhs (on-road) which is costlier than the Standard variant by roughly INR 21,000. The Interceptor 650 has three trims in the country, namely Dual-Tone, Standard and Chrome which come at INR 2.57 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi), INR 2.50 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi) and INR 2.70 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi) respectively.

Bookings commenced for the 650 Twins back in October last year with an initial amount of INR 5,000 and there is currently a waiting period of around 3 months as per reports. Both the Continental GT 650 and Interceptor 650 come with a counterbalanced 648 cc parallel-twin cylinder mill that dishes out 47 BHP and 52 Nm. Both these models are assembled at the Royal Enfield plant at Oragadam in Chennai. Check out our review below.
