Hero Motocorp starts updating line up with integrated braking systems

Hero MotoCorp has upgraded several bikes in its range with its Integrated Braking System or IBS which include variants of the Splendor Plus, Passion X Pro and HF Deluxe. This safety feature will be compulsory for all two-wheelers with engine capacities lower than 125cc from the 1st of April, 2019. As a result, Hero MotoCorp has rolled out these upgrades with hikes in prices between INR 500 and INR 2,000.

IBS helps in distributing braking actions between the brakes at the rear and front upon application of the rear brake. The HF Deluxe has got this update for the self-start and kick-start variants which are priced at INR 48,175 and INR 40,400 respectively now. There is an i3S variant which is priced at INR 49,375 now with the IBS update. The overall price hike for this range has been INR 500.
