The Japanese two-wheeler major Yamaha is all set to enter the scooter market in India and has already invested Rs 10 crore to set up a plant in Surajpur , Uttar Pradesh.

India Yamaha Motor Pvt Ltd CEO and Managing Director Hiroyuki Suzuki said that “The scooter market in India is huge and we want to have a strong presence. Now we are preparing to launch a scooter here within 2012” . he also added that the scooters will be aimed at personal stylish commuting.

We hope we get some old school retro modeled scoots, in the mean while here is a look at some of the scooters that Yamaha have out side India.
